XERIGATION

The rise in popularity of "Green Consciousness" (finally!) in America has increased the demand for xerigation and efficient water management.

"Xerigation" can be loosely defined as low volume plant specific landscape watering.

  "Xeriscaping" is not Zeroscaping! (as it is commonly misnamed).  Typically water efficient, native plants are arranged in mulched beds.  Xeriscape watering is most commonly achieved using drip emitters.

There are just about as many choices for drip irrigation components as there are plants in a nursery.
